Volunteer Opportunities
Regular Volunteering
KidsBank is powered by dedicated and passionate volunteers. As a volunteer with KidsBank you will make a real difference to local families in need of support.
Our volunteers commit to a weekly shift on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays helping on either a morning (9.30am – 12pm) or an afternoon shift (12pm – 2.30pm) each week. Training is provided.
We currently have a waiting list for new volunteers. If you would like to be added to our waiting list, please contact us at:

Meet Our Flintshire Hub Volunteers

Julie
Hi I’m Julie. I started my volunteering journey with KidsBank in 2022 as a delivery driver. It’s a wonderful privilege to meet our lovely families and see the difference KidsBank makes to them.
In June 2023 I was lucky to become one of the volunteers in the Hub where the referrals are put together. It’s great to be involved in the whole process and to work with some lovely people.
Paula
Hi, I’m Paula. I live near Chester with my husband and we have two grown-up children. I enjoy running, going to the gym, and keeping active.
I volunteer at KidsBank in Mold, and it’s incredibly rewarding to be part of such a wonderful charity. After seeing the amazing work the team does to support local families in need, I knew I wanted to get involved. It’s a truly special place to volunteer, with a fantastic team of kind, dedicated, and like-minded people all working towards the same goal — helping families when they need it most.

Volunteering at KidsBank is truly a rewarding experience for me!
I love being part of a team that makes a real difference in the lives of local families.
It’s amazing to see how the community comes together to support one another. Plus, I get to meet incredible people and develop new skills while giving back. Every hour counts, and I feel grateful to be part of the KidsBank family!
Craig
Hiya, I’m Craig, I used to be a postie until a couple of years ago but a knee injury put an end to that. I now do a little bit of taxi work for Jays 1st Class in Mold (but only a little 😀).
So in my spare time I’m happy to help in Kids Bank Flintshire by delivering the goods, in my car, that are prepared by the volunteers under the guidance of Nikki in the Mold unit. 😊”
